I have always loved dogs and had a collie mix growing up.  After joining our local kennel club, my husband and I researched breeds and decided to get a Belgian Tervuren.  We waited for three years for a particular litter and were devastated when an emergency c-section ended that dream.  A friend suggested getting a collie and the rest was history. 

Jack came into our home at 8 weeks of age and reminded me how much love a collie has to give.  After competing in obedience, I wanted to give the conformation ring a try.  I still haven’t made it into the conformation ring because my oldest son wanted to try Jazz at the first conformation class.  Little did my husband and I know how our life was going to change…..

Welcome to Jereco Collies

We are a small kennel in Northeast Wisconsin.  Our goal is to produce quality collies that are as comfortable in the breed ring as they are on your couch.  All of our dogs are raised in the home with plenty of socialization.   Our family is involved in Conformation, junior showmanship, obedience, agility, carting, rally, herding, backpacking, therapy visits.  If it can be done with dogs we will try it. We only have one or two litters of puppies a year.  puppies are raised with lots of care and attention. We do not start placing them until they are ten weeks old. They will have their first puppy vaccinations, eye checks, vet health checks, and have started crate and house training. All puppies that are placed in pet homes are sold on a limited registration with the American Kennel Club, and must be spayed/neutered by the time they are nine months old at which time I release the registration papers. All dogs are sold with a contract guaranteeing their health and temperament. Contracts for puppies sold into pet homes include a spay/neuter requirement. Occasionally adults are also available.
